Yesterday, Nigerian female pop star, Tiwa Savage revealed the major thing for women to acknowledge in their marital lives.
In her interview with OAP Toolz, she admitted that being submissive to a man as the lady with a thriving career is sometimes difficult, but she still maintained the stand that, it is important for women to submit to their men at home as he is the head of the home.
Sharing her view on gender equality, Tiwa said, no matter how a woman can be strong in her career, she might never get her marriage right if she fails to acknowledge that her man is the head.
“when we are home we have to realize that the man is the head of the house.”
Her argument stirred a lot of reaction from women and was not well received by a lot especially Madam Kemi Olunloyo who happens to be a feminist. Madam Kemi took to her gram and stated that, women have no business submitting to their men, rather, men are to submit to their women.
“Nigerian ladies, DO NOT SUBMIT to your man, husband or sugarpop. Let them SUBMIT to YOU! That’s why men FEAR and respect me left and right! Tiwa FAILED in her marriage. The man I dated last will tell you his bible line about submissive woman made me exit.”
