A man has been arrested by the officials of the Lagos state police Rapid Response Squad for raising false alarm that his car was stolen while he forgot it at at a beer parlor while he was drunk.
The man identified has Jude, a resident of Anthony Village was arrested last Friday after he drank himself to stupor and forgot his car at a beer parlour and went home.
According to report about 3.30am the next day, he went to the police station to report that his car had been stolen from his residence, but during the police investigations the car was recovered where it was parked few meters away from the beer parlour with all items in it intact, while he was then detained briefly and counselled before he was later freed.
