The photo of the kidnapped Catholic Priest, Reverend Father Cyriacus Onunkwo, who was kidnapped from his vehicle in Orlu town in Orlu Local Government Area on Friday morning by unknown gunmen has been released.
According to the Commissioner of Police in Imo State, Chris Ezike, Onunkwo’s lifeless body was discovered in a bush in Omuma Village in Orlu East Local Government Area on Saturday.
It was reported that the priest who worked in Orlu diocese from Osina, in the Ideato North LGA, Imo State, recently lost his dad and was traveling home to arrange his funeral when he was abducted at gunpoint.
