NINE MEALS & FOOD EVERY MAN MUST EAT REGULARLY TO INCREASE FERTILITY.

Did you know that more than 90 percent of male infertility cases are due to low sperm counts, poor sperm quality or both? There are many things you can do to improve your sperm volume, and diet is definitely one of the most important things. These foods have the power to improve your fertility levels, increase sperm count and motility.

1. DARK CHOCOLATE

Dark chocolate is packed with antioxidants. Dark chocolate contains L-Arginine HCL, an amino acid that doubles male sperm count and semen volume. L-arginine is also known to improve the dilation of blood vessels, which increases blood flow to male reproductive organs.

2. PUMPKIN SEEDS

These seeds contain a hefty dose of zinc, which increases testosterone and sperm count. Pumpkin seeds are also loaded with omega-3 fatty acids, which stimulate blood flow to reproductive organs and improve it’s function.

3. SPINACH

Leafy green vegetables such as spinach are rich sources of folic acid. Men with low levels of folate have more sperm with chromosomal abnormalities. To increase your sperm count, production, and motility, make sure you’re eating lots of dark green veggies.

4. GARLIC

Garlic contains a chemical called allicin which increase blood flow in the body. Garlic also provides the body with selenium and vitamin B6 which are responsible for the mechanism of healthy sperm production.

5. POMEGRANATE

Pomegranates are rich in an antioxidant that help to reduce a chemical found in sperm called malondialdehyde, which destroys sperm. Drinking pomegranate juice can help the body to get rid of free radicals and also in improve the quality of the sperms.

6. WALNUTS

Walnuts contain arginine, which increases sperm production and increases semen volume. Another key nutrient for sperm volume is omega-3 fatty acids. These essential fatty acids can improve blood flow to male reproductive organs and increase sperm count.

7. TOMATOES

Tomatoes are one of the best food sources of the antioxidant lycopene. There have been several studies undertaken on lycopene and male fertility and it has been found to significantly improve motility (the sperms ability to swim), activity and structure of sperm. Lycopene is more available in cooked or processed tomatoes, so use tomato puree for a real hit and add olive oil to aid absorption of this fat-soluble antioxidant.

8. BLUEBERRIES

Blueberries are wonderful source of powerful, anti-inflammatory antioxidants including quercetin and resveratrol. Studies show that quercetin can help in maintaining healthy sperm parameters including motility and quality and resveratrol has been found to improve sperm count and motility.

9. LENTILS

Lentils are one of the richest food sources of folate (natural folic acid) which is just as important for male fertility as it is for female fertility.
It has been found that men who have a lower intake of folate from their diet have higher rates of chromosomal abnormalities in their sperm.
