As we know that having Scars as a result of changes that alter the physical architecture of normal skin or other tissue, can be very worrisome for many people, as they usually find it embarrassing and sometimes as a reminder of their traumatic experiences.

4. Contracture scars
These are scars that occur as a result of a burn on the skin that tighten the skin, possibly impairing the
ability to move that area. These types of scars can go penetrate deep in the skin, affecting muscles and nerves, and can be really bad for burn victims.
5. Atrophic scars
These scars are caused when the structures supporting the skin, such as fat or muscle begin to atrophy or disappear. This type of scarring is said to be caused by acne, chickenpox, Staphylococcus infection surgery, some particular insect and spider bites, or accidents or genetic skin disorder, called Ehlers–Danlos syndrome.
As earlier mentioned there are many scar removal techniques, we will only be looking at 5 ways to remove scars naturally, through home made remedies considering that scar removal surgeries are very costly for many Nigerians that have sought for scar removal creams and others that have opted for scar removal surgeries or laser treatment.
Below are the 5 natural methods and home remedies for scar removal
1. Coconut Oil
Using coconut oil is a very good way to remove scars naturally, as it is very rich in omega-3 fatty acids and
antioxidants that inhibits scar formation, and speeds up wound repair. Also, coconut oil contains lauric, caprylic and capric acids that increases collagen production.
Usage:
Place the coconut oil on your palms and rub on the affected area on your skin while leaving it for hours so the skin can absorb the oil. You can repeat this procedure 3 times a day.
2. Aloe Vera
This is the ultimate natural remedy for the skin that helps to treat scarring naturally because it is a natural emollient that repairs damaged skin and gives a healthy, radiant skin.
Usage:
a. Peel off the outer covering of the aloe vera plant.
b. Then carry out the natural gel and rub it on the scarred area.

b. Wash off the next morning with warm water and do this daily before going to bed.
