Nigerian Muslims Not Banned From Entering The US

The new laws restricting some Muslims from entering the United States of America will not affect Nigerians, it has been revealed.
President Donald Trump had last week, informed that Muslims from some African and Middle Eastern countries would no longer be allowed into the United States, and this had elicited a lot of reactions from all over the world.
Protests had since engulfed various parts of the United States over the temporary ban on Muslims imposed by President Trump .
But a recent statistical representation shows that Nigeria (one of the top five countries with the highest population of Muslims all over the world) will not be affected by Trump’s new decision.
Inspite of this new revelation, the American leader is not giving Nigerians a free hand into the United States, as a recent report indicated that the two-year visa policy has been reviewed since Nigeria issues one-year visa to most Americans.
Nigeria, according to this statistical representation, has an amazingly high population of Muslims yet, it has not been flagged. This country along with the others in this representation have not been banned from the United States of America.
This is in line with the section of the executive orders that “ If a country does not treat United States nationals seeking nonimmigrant visas in a reciprocal manner, the Secretary of State shall adjust the visa validity period, fee schedule, or other treatment to match the treatment of United States nationals by the foreign country, to the extent practicable…“
This may only change if the federal government looks into this provision and extends the validity of Nigerian visa to Americans.
