The babies were born at the same exact time in each sister’s respective time zone ,Rodgers gave birth first, welcoming a baby boy at 1:18 a.m., in Denver, Colorado, and Mariuz’s daughter was born at 1:18 a.m., in La Jolla, California. Identical twins Sarah Mariuz and Leah Rodgers ,35 both welcomed their firstborn children into the world on June 30 at 1:18 a.m. in their respective cities.Sarah Mariuz with her husband, Nick, and their newborn baby. “It’s that magical twin connection I suppose,” Mariuz tells PEOPLE. “There have just been certain things in our life where things just match up – it’s odd.””We didn’t plan being pregnant at the same time.
