Wizkid Makes History, Blasts Davido & Shuts Down London in His Latest Concert – See Testimonials (With Pictures)

Last night was epic as African Starboy, Wizkid a.ka Daddy Yo’made history with a sold-out show at one of the most prestigious venues in Central London, Royal Albert Hall.

The Hall was filled to capacity with loyal fans who sang along with their favourite star as he performed a show of a lifetime.
The singer, with so much energy, brought  Wande Coal up on stage and they entertain the audience with songs like ‘For me‘, ‘Iskaba’ and many more. Wizkid, while appreciating Wande Coal mentioned that Wande is one artiste he respects the most in the industry, stating further that “this is what sweet voice sounds like, we don’t want no funny voice around here”… Now that is some shade to Davido! but let’s move on.
The concert was filled with hits of the superstar but then as he rightly said, he has a problem, and that is, he has so many hits! travelling smoothly from one beat to another in a seamless way that only Starboy can. From No Lele to The Matter, Jaiye Jaiye, Tease Me, Daddy Yo, I love My Baby and the national anthem, Ojuelegba… these sounds from other side and former side sounded so fresh you’ll think they’re brand new.
This show was lit with music, witty statements from the artiste and the live band were just that…  life! Wizkid took live performance to a new level connecting with the audience as they move in sync with sounds. Come to think of this is what a live performance should be like, just that Wizkid took it up notches higher and gave us magic!
This magic was felt by everyone who was either present at the venue or streamed it live because the reviews online are never-ending! Some of the industry key players also attested to the history wizkid made, with the likes of Don Jazzy who tweeted that;

Wizkid killing with the classics. London is having mad fun.

and the CEO of EbonylifeTV, Mo’ Abudu who said Wizkid really made her proud to be Nigerian

From reviews on Twitter, most people still haven’t gotten over what they received last night!
