‘Why I Dumped APC For PDP’ – Atiku’s Ally

A close ally to former vice-president Atiku Abubakar, Mallam Isah Dansallah, has just decamped from the ruling All Progressive’s Congress (APC) to the opposition Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) alongside Simon Dogari, An ex-speaker of Taraba state House of Assembly.

Dansallah is a founding member of the APC.

On why he left the ruling party, Dansallah stated that the party has turned to brew crisis within.

He also alleged the APC-led government of afflicting Nigerians with poverty and being unable to manage the multi pluralistic religious and ethnic affiliation of citizens.

“I dump the APC to PDP because the opposition PDP is lesser evil compare with the ruling APC,” he told the Leadership.

“There was a time that I found myself in the APC, I worked for its success in 2015, but the APC has metamorphosed and turned into a ghost with crisis all over.

“The APC led government has succeeded in subjecting Nigerians to abject poverty and has successfully divided Nigerians along religious and ethnic lines.

“People are dying every day with various sicknesses because of depression as some people can’t even afford a square meal a day.”

Recall, the former vice-president Atiku was also said to be considering decamping to PDP.

A close ally who preferred anonymity had said one of the conditions of Atiku for joining PDP was to be granted an undebatable presidential ticket of PDP.
