The Money Pox viral disease which has been described as airborne has continued to spread across the South-south part of Nigeria.
The Monkey pox epidemic has spread to Akwa Ibom State.
One case of the disease, which was first detected in Bayelsa state, has been confirmed, the Akw Ibom State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Mr Charles Udoh, said.
He added that two other suspected cases are under investigation. The news is still developing.
