It has been reported that two heavily armed men pursued and intercepted a vehicle with government plate number at Paul Bassey street by Brooks street, Uyo, Akwa Ibom state capital yesterday , 23rd of August.
Though no life was lost in the attack, according to eyewitness account, however, the armed robbers carted away a huge amount of money from the vehicle. The eyewitness said;
“They are operating freely o…After more than robbing for 20mins, the Police just arrived…Note, that the attack is just 2 mins to The A’division Police Station and 3 mins to Government House. Who told the Robbers that there was huge amount of money in that car?”
