#4) enter the 4-digit PIN (Personal Identification Number) for the selected ATM card;

#5) create a new 5-digit PIN; this PIN would be used to complete or confirm your future transactions.

Now your number is active at the First Bank USSD Quick Banking Service.

What to do if you don’t have a First Bank ATM card?

In the case where you don’t have a First Bank ATM card, just follow these steps:

#1) dial "*894*0#";

#2) provide your 10-digit First Bank account number;

#3) create a new 5-digit Personal Identification Number.

Now your number is active at the First Bank USSD Quick Banking Service.

If you want to check your account balance just dial "*894*00#". And you will receive an SMS notification that will show all your account balances.

You can recharge Airtime for your phone with the help of the First Bank mobile app. Follow these steps:

#1) just dial "*894*Amount#" (if you want to recharge N 1,000 Airtime, just dial "*894*1000#");

#2) now your accounts will be displayed for selection (this is in case you have more than one First Bank account);

#3) choose the account you want to pay from.

Now your transaction is finished. By the way, the maximum amount of Airtime that you can recharge for yourself at once is N 10,000, and per day amount is N 10,000 as well. Any recharge on your line above N 3,000 requires entering your 5-digit Personal Identification Number.

How to transfer money from First Bank?

If you want to transfer money from your First Bank account, follow these steps:

#1) just dial the First Bank transfer code: "*894*amount*account number#" (for example: "*894*5000*1234567890#" to send N 5,000 to account number "1234567890");

#2) choose the bank you are transferring to;

#3) confirm beneficiary’s name, amount, and enter your 5-digit Personal Identification Number;

#4) now your accounts are displayed for selection.

#5) choose the account, which you want to transfer from.

Now the transaction is processed and finished. By the way, there is no minimum single transaction amount, that is why you can even send less than N 1,000 to any account you want. However, the maximum single transaction amount is N 100,000. Daily transfer limit is N 100,000. All money transfer transactions require your 5-digit Personal Identification Number.
