Senator, Ben Murray-Bruce has called on the Federal Government to speak out and act over the attacks on Nigerians in India. According to him, if the government should remain quiet, it means that we are indirectly telling them that such treatment is acceptable.
Bruce said on his Twitter handle that Nigerians welcome Indians, and they should reciprocate the gesture.
“FG must speak out and act over the treatment of Nigerians in India. If we remain quiet, we communicate that this treatment is acceptable.
India’s govt must make India as welcoming for Nigerians as the Nigerian govt has made Nigeria welcoming to Indians. We must have reciprocity,” He wrote.
