In easy step-by-step this is the way makeup routine should be done if you want a tidy, seamless and flawless finish for makeup.

Taming the brows comes after this as it sets the tone for how the whole look comes together. Draw, fill and neaten the brows at this point so it’s ready. At this stage the face is already giving a ‘vibe’.
4. Eyeshadow
Eyeshadow application comes at this stage, if wearing a colour or more, its time to cut creases, transition with colours etc and make sure you have the desired hues set.
5. Eyeliner
Applying the eyeliner comes after wearing the eyeshadow at this point you can go all out winged, dramatic and so on. And this point the eyes are opened up colourfully already.
6. Mascara
Mascara comes next to brush out the lashes, at this point the eyes are done and by now the lashes and brows to are set to complement the rest of the makeup steps.
7. Foundation & Concealer
Foundation comes after to give a flattering finish to the face, this is when blemishes are covered up. The concealer comes on as well at this stage covering blemishes and hiding dark circles and so on. At this stage the face is almost done.
8. Contour
Contour comes after this
9. Blush
The blush (if applicable) comes at this stage
10. Setting Powder
The setting powder is used at this stage (it could come after applying foundation and concealer if you bake your makeup to allow it time to fully ‘cook’)
11. Lipstick, Lipliner
Apply lipwear as desired
12. Highlighter
