Britain Bans Passengers of Six Muslim Countries From Taking Laptops and Tablets Into Plane Cabin

Henceforth, these six Muslim countries are not allowed to carry laptops and tablets into plane cabins entering the United Kingdom.
According to AFP, passengers flying directly to Britain from Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia and Turkey will be banned from taking laptops and tablet computers into the plane cabin, the government announced Tuesday.

Citing reason for the ban, a spokesman said: “Our top priority will always be to maintain the safety of British nationals,” 

The spokesman further added that the decision was reached following intelligence that extremists plan to target planes with bombs in electronic devices.
